Jensen Legal handles criminal defense cases including assault, robbery, theft, fraud, embezzlement, DUI, DWI, alcohol related offenses, domestic violence and a host of other charges. Here are just a few of our results:

• State v. JP: Thurston County. Client charged with rape when 15 year-old daughter decides to get dad in trouble, then alleges mom punched her in ribs. Both parents charged. Both parents pass polygraph tests. Many witnesses hear 15 year-old saying that she was just doing this to get back at dad for not letting her date her new boyfriend. After several months of defense this case was dismissed. These parents are awesome and should never have been charged with anything.


• State v. RR: charged as Murder in the Second Degree maximum penalty of 18 years. Pled to Manslaughter in the Second Degree, with 15 months jail, no probation.


• State v. BK: Pierce County charged Murder in the Second Degree. Not Guilty by reason of self defense. State ended up paying all defense attorney and investigator fees, plus lost wages.


• State v. JY: Aggressive prosecution of 8 charges, maximum penalty of 116 months plus 78 months of deadly weapon enhancements (total of 16 years). Result: Guilty on just three counts plus 6 months of weapon enhancements. Still set for sentencing, result expected to be around 5 years.


• State v. PW: Charged with assault, not his first offense so facing 1 year revocation in another county. Pled to malicious mischief and credit for time served.


• City v. MR: Charged assault. Stipulated Order of Continuance. Case will be dismissed after 20 hours community service, anger management class and no new charges.
